Social Media Brand Identity

A social media identity designed for a fictional gourmet pizza chain restaurant, Margherita’s Brick Oven. This includes headers for Twitter and YouTube, a Facebook ad, and a three-frame Instagram Stories ad.

Social media headers, mockups, and ads were created in Adobe Illustrator.

Process

Margherita’s Brick Oven Brand Style Tile

The company wanted to expand its business, attract investors, and generate buzz around its brand. Their current social media presence was inconsistent. The client wanted to rectify this and develop a consistent brand identity.

The brand is family-owned and is highly regarded in its local area. They had recently taken a professional photo shoot to show off their menu, and are promoting the launch of a new online ordering system. For their brand identity, the focus was on a professional, rustic, and comforting aesthetic. The brick oven motif, made from the brand’s palette, is the basis of the designs, used as a fitting background. Text is contained on “posters” for strong contrast and easy readability. With the background of a professional photo shoot, the imagery focuses heavily on quality, delicious-looking pizzas.
