A multi-channel digital campaign designed for a fictional organization, Get LIT Festival of Books. The campaign includes a social media ad, a digital display ad, an email blast, and a landing page design.

All four designs were created in Adobe Illustrator.

Process

Get LIT Festival of Books Mood Board

The client holds an annual event that promotes community literacy and supports local authors. Following the success of their previous year’s events and slowly building social media presence, they aimed to make their third annual event the largest one yet. In preparation, they had booked a larger venue and included a gift basket raffle to incentivize early registration.

The main focus of this campaign was to be “professional but fun.” The base designs are very simple and easy to follow. Information is presented in blocks or bullet points with keywords highlighted in different colors. Icons such as bookmarks and lightbulbs are used to add simple, thematic flair to the designs. To mark its importance, the gift basket raffle is always present underneath the main call-to-action button.

The event boasts many different activities from child-friendly, to poetry tents, to author talks, to book sales. To highlight this, images were chosen to properly represent this wide range, including images that show both adults and children enjoying the activities.
